Michael has been seen regularly on Madison's CBS affiliate TV station Channel 3 on his weekly segments, BRUNO'S BEST BETS and BACKSTAGE WITH BRUNO, for the past 10+ years. He owns and operates J. Michael Bruno Productions, Inc., the location for his video podcast, Show Biz Buzz With Bruno, presented by Mad's Theatre. He is the former Artistic Director of WhoopDeDoo Productions and Past President of the Board of Directors for StageQ Theatre. He is the Stage Director for The Madison Savoyard's upcoming production of IOLANTHE at The Bartell Theatre this summer. Michael is an advisor for high school students in The Overture Center's Student Social Influencers Program.
Michael has also performed, directed, and produced over 100 shows in the Greater Madison Area since returning from the West Coast in 2001.
