From the play by Marcelle Maurette as adapted by Guy Bolton
From the 1997 animated big-screen favorite to the 2017 Broadway stage performances and tours since, the story of Anastasia has drawn audiences from around the world. This enchanting story set in post-WW1 Paris follows Russian-born Anya in her determination to find her home, her family, and her place in the world. The heartwarming soundtrack includes the familiar movie classics, “Journey to the Past” and “Once Upon a December.”
High school students from Beaver Dam and the surrounding communities will impress and inspire you as they transport you through their talented performances. Previously labeled a youth performance, this show draws quite a crowd and overheard phrases like, “I can’t believe they were high schoolers.” Plan this summer to enjoy this new addition to the BDACT Mainstage Series.
