ART House 360 Features Local Artist Brooklyn Doby in July Exhibition and Community Events
VERONA, WI — ART House 360 is proud to feature Madison artist Brooklyn Doby as its July exhibiting artist. Her vibrant and uplifting work will be showcased throughout the month in the Community Room at ART House 360. Doby works under the pseudonym B. Denae Artistry.
The exhibition celebrates Doby's distinctive artistic voice through portraits and abstract works that center Black beauty, self-love, healing, and liberation. Community members are invited to engage with Brooklyn's work through two special events during the month.
Born and raised in Madison, Wisconsin, Doby is a painter, muralist, and graduate of Edgewood College's Art Therapy program. Now entering her sixth year as a full-time artist, she participates in vendor events, exhibitions, and fine art shows throughout Wisconsin. Her work reflects a passion for acrylic painting, portraiture, and creating imagery that celebrates Black beauty and representation.

Pop Art Self-Portrait Workshops
Wednesdays, July 22 and July 29: 6:30pm
Participants will explore color, identity, and self-expression while creating their own pop art-inspired self-portraits in a two-part self-portrait painting class with Madison artist, Brooklyn Doby. Doby is most known for her abstract, pop art-style portraits in which she accentuates beauty by breaking up skin tones, using a vibrant color palette, and incorporating 3D elements. Participants will learn color mixing, blending techniques, and how to wire a canvas. Intentionally designed as a fun experience in a safe space, the workshop will also have loose, open dialogue around art therapy and self-expression. This special opportunity offers time for an exploration of all the features that are uniquely “You.”
Doby believes that one of the most impactful aspects of art is that it can be shared, both through the creative process and the finished work. Her July exhibition and workshops offer community members opportunities to experience both.
