Season 2025-2026 Continues with an Encore FIRST! Wisconsin’s original professional theatre company for people with disabilities is working on a new play and we need YOU! We have been working on a new play and we
welcome you to our first staged workshop!
Join us on Papineau Cable Access Channel WPAP for the longest running talent competition in Cable Access History! Written by Encore’s Artistic Director Heather Renken and Lead Artistic Associate, Steve Wyeth, Papineau on Parade, features comedy, singing, dancing and backstage drama. In the face of uncertainty in funding for the arts, how much is the town of Papineau willing to compromise and how does funding decide who is allowed to have a voice?
The show’s future is on the line and will be voted on by you, the live audience!
Encore Studio for the Performing Arts presents Papineau on Parade a workshop presentation! After each performance of this staged workshop (which runs about 90 minutes with a 10 minute intermission) we invite
you to stay for talkbacks! These community talkbacks will feature panels made up of Encore’s repertory actors and artistic staff! Each night will be a different conversation so come as often as you want!
