production of RENT, coming to Madison’s historic Orpheum Theater June 5–7, 2026.
This special anniversary staging of Jonathan Larson’s groundbreaking musical
celebrates three decades of love, loss, and living “no day but today.” With a
powerhouse cast and the exceptional artistry audiences have come to expect
from Capital City Theatre, this limited engagement honors the legacy of RENT while
inspiring a new generation with its timeless message of hope and community.
