Odd Tales Audio Theatre of Wisconsin is holding a 6 week Audio Drama Writing Workshop.
Participants will meet weekly in Stoughton, at 12pm, for a 2-3 hour seminar.
Participants will finish the 6 weeks with a 10-20 minute working draft of an Audio Drama script.
All participants will be expected to generate material and to give and receive critical feedback in a guided group setting. This is an in-person seminar. Your physical presence is integral.
Over the course of 6 weeks, this seminar will cover character, dialogue, format, sound effects, production, limitations, advantages, direction and acting style.
All styles and genres are welcome! Professional or novice, come in with an idea, or with a blank page, anyone over 18, all are invited!
- When: Saturdays at Noon, starting Saturday, September 13th, 12 noon.
- Who: Adults 18+, from Novice to Professional, All are welcome
- Where: Meetings will take place in Stoughton. Address provided upon registration.
- Size: Limited to 8 writers
- Goal: Draft a complete 10–20 minute audio drama script, any genre.
All completed scripts will be given a staged reading and will be considered for an upcoming Odd Tales Theatre performance. Participation in the seminar does not guarantee production through Odd Tales Theatre
