Register to attend a focused workshop on auditioning for Shakespeare performance, held at the Bartell Theatre, 113 E. Mifflin St in Madison, WI on Saturday November 11 from 11 AM - 3:30 PM.
This event is aimed at performers of all experience levels who would like an opportunity to refine their approach to Shakespeare, solicit feedback, and participate in discussion with area directors and actors.
Facilitators include Sam D. White (director of Twelfth Night [Taub] for Stoughton Village Players and Shakespeare In Love for Strollers Theatre), Annie Jay (director of Love's Labour's Lost and A Valentine's Affair 2024 for Madison Shakespeare Company), Colin Loeffler (director of Twelfth Night for Madison Shakespeare Company) and Julia Houck (director of Mother Courage for Strollers Theatre).
This free event is offered to the south-central Wisconsin performing arts community by the facilitators, with the generous cooperation of StageQ and its production of The Secretaries, performing November 3-18 at the Bartell Theatre.
