Wisconsin Singers is looking for talented theatre technicians to join our team for the 2025-26 season!
Wisconsin Singers is UW-Madison's only professional touring performance group that travels the Midwest and performs on some of the biggest stages and performing arts centers in the Midwest with our Broadway-caliber music review.
Our technical team makes sure every Wisconsin Singers show looks and sounds its best! Learn from and work alongside industry professionals and grow your technical skills. This is the only opportunity on a college campus to tech for a professional-level touring company and manage the theatrical aspects of live shows in a variety of venues. Seeking student technicians from UW-Madison, Madison College, or Edgewood College.
We are looking for:
Stage Managers: Grow your skills in backstage theatre management while also getting experience in theatrical lighting, live sound, and prop/equipment management. Facilitate the pre-production and touring process of the Wisconsin Singers shows.
Lighting Designers/Techs: Design a lighting plot for a rock concert/Broadway-style show. Responsibilities include onsite focus, setup, and programming of lights for every show including moving lights, par cans, etc. Adapt lighting design to fit a variety of performance venues.
