Encore Studio for the Performing Arts is seeking an individual for the part-time position of Direct Support Professional / Artistic Associate (20-25 hrs/week). Support includes emotional, behavioral and physical support, as well as supporting them in their vocation as professional actors.
Job Description
Part Time (20-25 hours/week)
Hours: Monday/Wednesday/Friday 11:30 am-3:15 pm
Tuesday/Thursday 8:45 am-3 pm
Performance schedule will vary.
Duties include:
- Ensure individuals’ rights, needs, dignity and safety needs are met within the rehearsal and performance settings.
- Provide emotional, behavioral and physical supports to repertory company actors.
- Assist individuals in the process of rehearsing and performing professional quality theatrical presentations.
- Attend all staff meetings, in-service and training as assigned.
- Participate in performances as assigned (acting, stage management etc. in addition to support duties).
- Other duties as assigned

- Reliable, flexible and energetic with the ability to collaborate artistically.
Qualifications:
- Experience in the human services industry focusing on people with physical and/or developmental disabilities and/or a diverse theatre background.
