No need to dig up the past when the past keeps barreling through the door, time and time again...
In this short piece by Norwegian playwright Fredrik Brattberg, a couple struggles to move on after their son's death changes their lives forever. Then one day, a knock at the door changes their lives again. And again. And..... again. The Returning toes the lines between tragedy, dark comedy, absurdity, and drama as the family fights to rebuild their lives and leave the past behind - by any means necessary.
The Returning (Tilbakekomstene), will be directed by Breahan Pautsch, former co-artistic director of Akvavit Theatre, a Chicago company that was dedicated to contemporary Nordic works.
Auditions will include readings from the script and anything else you'd like to share.

Auditions: Sunday May 18 or Monday May 19th, 6pm-9pm (no need to stay the whole time)
